I loved the last chapters of this part. The story thickens and finally gets more interesting as I was starting to get a bit annoyed (or bored) with the development so far.
Looking forward to the conclusion of the trilogy.

Lo increíble que escribe esta mujer... Qué gigantesco ejercicio de imaginación, de luz, de humanidad. Me ha parecido precioso y real. Se ve perfectamente toda la complejidad que no se narra pero que la autora ha imaginado y considerado, y toda la voluntad de perseguir un mundo mejor.

I was expecting a longer story but since I'm reading the whole trilogy (and the short story in between) I would not give my review too much credit. The story is indeed interesting and the relationship that is being established between Binti and Okwu, being the second such a different type of entity, is appealing.

The premise reminds me a bit of one of my favorite old sci-fi novels, "The Stars my Destination" by Alfred Bester, but also seems so diferent!!

@Ampi312 gracias por la review! Sigo a la autora en Mastodon y tenía esto en el radar. La novela corta Fuego Sagrado está en eBiblio pero nada más 😢 así que como está la trilogía entera por menos de dos euros en Kindle, pues ya la tengo en la cola que justo estaba buscando algo que leer!

Algo mejor que la novela anterior

Si algo le puedo agradecer al autor es que hace novelas que se leen en un suspiro y entretienen (hasta cierto punto). Sólo por eso seguramente siga leyendo sus historias, aunque cada vez con menos ganas.
No puedo dejar de recordar con más cariño las primeras novelas de este universo, y de notar la diferencia en el lenguaje y el estilo que va cada vez más hacia algo más parecido a un thriller palomitero.
El hecho de que el autor hace conexiones con personajes y arcos anteriores y necesito que me los refresquen porque no retengo nada de estas novelas igual dice algo. No sé.
