Jessica Joelle Alexander, Iben Sandahl: The Danish Way of Parenting: What the Happiest People in the World Know About Raising Confident, Capable Kids (2016)

Review of 'The Danish Way of Parenting: What the Happiest People in the World Know About Raising Confident, Capable Kids' on 'Goodreads'

I was not deceived by this bestseller. It's pretty clearly aimed at North American moms but still, there's a lot of common sense in it. I liked how it described some patterns in North American parenting that I could also relate to the way I see it here. I think I will eventually get this one on paper just to have it more at hand than as an audiobook.

I enjoyed the listening experience of this audio book, even I was distracted in some of the stories. I liked to find references to the different myths in American Gods, Thor MCU movies, and other pop culture pieces.

This is a book I'd should have read 15 years ago. Today it felt a bit too enthusiastic, but it's OK to read about capitalism and the idealistic real estate quick success from time to time

It's been a looong read (since Dec'18!), enjoyed it without doubt, sometimes confusing, but smart, and entertaining.

Review of 'Guerra Financiera Asimétrica' on 'Goodreads'
