Vaughn Vernon: Domain-Driven Design Distilled (2016, Addison-Wesley Professional)

Review of 'Domain-Driven Design Distilled' on 'Goodreads'

This is the very first book I read about DDD, and I have enjoyed it.
Examples were very clear and reading it was very easy.
Maybe a little bit "superficial", but I guess being a "distilled" edition, you can not ask for more.

The only thing that I didn't like at all is having a continuous and periodic reminder (more than 30 times!!) from the author that we could find much more detail in his "Implementing Domain-Driven Design" book.

It was quite annoying, to be honest: once at the very beginning and once and the end, would have been enough.

Besides that, I highly recommended if you want to start learning about "that DDD stuff" :-)

Gojko Adzic: Bridging the Communication Gap (Paperback, 2009, Neuri Limited)

Review of 'Bridging the Communication Gap' on 'Goodreads'

As so many people say: a "must" for anyone involved in software development.

Because of the age of the book, written in 2009, most concepts might sound "too obvious" nowadays or someone already familiar with agile software development. Despite that, I highly recommended, it's always good to read all together the logic and sense of lots of practices.

READ IT, YOU FOOLS!! :-p

Víctor del Árbol: La tristeza del samurái (Paperback, 2012, Debolsillo)

Review of 'La tristeza del samurái' on 'Goodreads'
