Visually appealing and to the point. The quote from Robert Mitchum is appalling, but besides this, I think it’s worth reading it.

A reflection on consumerism and living ignoring nature. An ode to a simpler but richer life. Motherhood under tough circumstances. I got hooked by the mysteries in the book and stayed because of the family portrait.

Un libro de enredo y aventura muy entretenido, con caricaturas tiernas por personajes.

Una historia personal durísima puesta en contexto. Me han impresionado muchos de los datos que se dan: casi un 40% de los hombres españoles son puteros. Ahora tengo claro que a las mujeres las violan por dinero.

Lo que ocurrió en Canfranc durante la segunda guerra mundial es fascinante. La red de espías, de escondites inverosímiles y escapadas por las montañas. Me alegro de que la autora nos haya acercado estas historias, aunque el libro se me haya hecho largo.

Crecer en un entorno de violencia doméstica con el conflicto etarra de trasfondo. El día a día, las cosas pequeñas y la violencia.

Similar topics as in her first book but treated from a really weird and unpleasant perspective. 

La violencia de la primera parte del libro me dejaba asqueada, escocida, no quería, pero quería seguir leyendo. Y después, un perderme en las sensaciones de no ser suficiente de Elena, Lenú, Lennuccia. No ser suficiente, ser una impostora y necesitar constantemente la aprobación externa. Relaciones que te hacen crecer a través del sufrimiento.

An explanation of all things related to the body done in a precise but fun way. Targetted to kids but highly entretaining and informative for everyone in the family.

The first part of this book is excellent and I’d like everyone to read. Then the stories feel more like rambles. Nevertheless, the message is clear: we need to do more against climate change, despite being the worst story a crisis could have.
