Libro entretenidísimo, de ese en el que vuelan las páginas y no te das ni cuenta. Muy buen ritmo, con siempre algo nuevo con lo que tirar p'alante.

Pero no llega a nominado de Hugo ni de coña y me alarma bastante que lo sea. Los personajes son tan planos y pueriles que no podría considerarla una novela para adultos. Los malos son malísisisisimos, los buenos, tontos del culo.

Lo más doloroso, en realidad, es el potencial que tiene su universo y lo mal plasmado que está. Hodgson se niega categoricamente a usar descripciones, así que todos esos palacios, rituales, espadas y túnicas nunca acaban de definirse en nada que puedas imaginar. Por no saber, ni siquiera sabes qué pinta tienen los personajes.
