nuevas militancias vs viejas militancias

Este libro va a resonar mucho con todas aquellas personas que han militado en organizaciones de vieja guardia, en donde la militancia implica una disciplina desvinculada de la emoción, machismos, verticalidad, vanguardias etc.

el libro propone una militancia diferente que esté centrada en la alegría, la cooperación, los afectos, las redes, estar abierto a lo emergente etc. es un libro lindo que nos recuerda que la lucha social no está peleada con momentos de alegría.

worth the read, but lengthy

ok so I really liked this book in the beginning, but the authors repeat the main talking points over and over, which was a little tiresome. still, it had a lot of eye-openers and I liked the general direction, idea & tone of it.

I am not a great fan of lumping everything one fights against into one big thing and calling it Empire... I think most thoughts in the book would have gained some clarity if it had called capitalism, racism, patriarchy, etc. by their name.
