It has been really nice to learn the destination of some of the people in the BeOS team. The story itself is interesting and the book is good at times, but at other moments it drags a lot.
It makes me think of [b:Revolution in The Valley: The Insanely Great Story of How the Mac Was Made|40492|Revolution in The Valley The Insanely Great Story of How the Mac Was Made|Andy Hertzfeld|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388288490l/40492.SX50.jpg|40082] as the author is not a professional writer... and it shows.
Some people compare it to [b:Dealers of Lightning: Xerox PARC and the Dawn of the Computer Age|1101290|Dealers of Lightning Xerox PARC and the Dawn of the Computer Age|Michael A. The impact of Xerox PARC on computing is in another league and cannot be compared to what the Android team developed and [a:Michael A. Hiltzik|206718|Michael A. But we must stress that Haase is also a far better developer than Hiltzik.
