I loved the first half of this book, where Anna explains the importance of being active at all ages. I found enlightening to hear about the lack of studies of sports an women, of active pregnancies and embracing physical activity during and after menopause. It seems that until 2000 most studies on sport and physical activity assumed women to be little men, completely ignoring our cyclical nature due to the rise and plummeting of oestrogen and progesterone. Then the second part of the book is more focused on individual experiences, but is totally worth it to pick up this book for its great first part.
