Si tienes #android:
* ve a configuración
* busca el menú "google"
* menú "anuncios"
* borra el ID de publicidad
* ve a "privacidad de los anuncios"
* desactiva todo
retutea para visibilidad.
#google ha estado liberando un sistema de anuncios (ad topics) que rastrea las aplicaciones que usas y las añade a la información usada para mostrarte anuncios
Didn't believe this was a thing until I actually saw it myself.
I bank at a small, local credit union. I recently cleared my autocomplete settings so plugged their name into #Google to get back to their homepage.
The Sponsored result IS NOT my bank's website. But is skinned the same. 100% a #phishing site served as a Google ad above the legitimate business website.
This is a major problem, my friends.

#Google is trying again to convince you, YES YOU, to contribute for free to Google Maps.
Please don't.
It is 100% #proprietary, Google has full control over the data you added and people can only access Google Maps over proprietary channels where Google dictates the rules. This gives them too much power.
Contribute to #OpenStreetMap instead, it's a project by the community, for the community.

You need to stop using Chrome NOW. It’s not hyperbole: Google just rolled out a change to Chrome that tracks the sites you visit, builds a profile, and shares that with any page you visit that asks.
This is real. It’s not tech bro conspiracy shit.
If you’re developing web sites that only run in Google Chrome, you are not a web developer, you’re a web destroyer.

What happens if #Gmail decides only #Chrome users can access it? Well, that's what #Google's new API would do if its new DRM for the #web moves ahead.

We are strongly against the new ‘dangerous’ #Google DRM / Web-Environment-Integrity. Here’s our take: 👇
https://vivaldi.com/blog/googles-new-dangerous-web-environment-integrity-spec/
With Google’s #WebEnvironmentIntegrity, the threat to the open web is greater as it could be used to encourage #Microsoft and #Apple to cooperate with Google to restrict competition in the browser and the operating system space.
This should be prevented from moving forward.
State of the Web, circa 2023:
“Would you like to use the browser by Company X, or the browser by the company that survives on half-a-billion dollars a year from Company X, or the browser by the company that gets paid an estimated $20 billion a year by Company X even though it can survive without it?”
We desperately need a web browser by an independent organisation funded by EU taxpayer money and maintained for the common good.
#Mozilla has published its position on the "Web Environment Integrity API" proposal put forward by the #Google #Chrome team.
First paragraph: "Mozilla opposes this proposal because it contradicts our principles and vision for the Web."
