Blacktongue Thief

Madre, qué diferencia de tono con The Daughter's War. Sigue metiéndose en el terreno de la fantasía MUY oscura, pero al menos ahora tienes a Kinch como narrador, que alivia un poco ese peso. Hay escenas francamente divertidas (¡El gato!) y algunas ideas que dan ganas de abrirle la cabeza al autor, a ver si tiene más de eso.

El ritmo se le va un poco de las manos y la química del grupo hace más aguas que flote, quizás porque está demasiado entretenido pensando en escenas jodidas con las que hacer su golpe de efecto.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a dark fantasy but not at the expense of a magical escape. It will leave you wondering what decade it came out because it very much fits right in with the old "Apoendix-N" fantasy, but you will notice distinctly modern bents where you might expect to find well tread ideas.
