Like the previous book, it's very interesting how everything fits into the canon. The ending feels rushed though, and the scene with the wolves is too painful for me to read. I'm already unable to watch the original movie again just because of that scene even if the poor wolves "just" take a beating and running away, but the book thing is carnage, I wasn't prepared for something like that. I will never give a good rating to a story that continues to feed stereotypes that are literally leading an animal species to extinction, much less with such bloody, unnecessary and hurtful descriptions.
