I think if I sat down and read the entire book in one sitting, I could get thru it, but I started it over twice bc I stopped listening and completely forgot the plot within a day. Maybe it’s the narration, the author has like… I feel like she’s imitating Keira knightley’s accent, that like. Not posh but sooo trying to be posh thing? And for what the story is about it just makes it sound pretentious. So, doesn’t work for me! Also ghe main character is literally 40 and is acting like all these girls having mental breakdowns in their late 20s and I’m like girl. What are you talking about “is this what growing up feels like” UR 40!!!! You’re your husband’s 3rd wife!! The “I’m just a girl” thing is NOT cute.
