Three men on the bummel

Having survived the hazards of the great English waterway - plus the outrageous behaviour of that dog - in their debut novel, THREE MEN IN A BOAT, we re-join our heroes George, Harris and Jerome on a bicycle tour through the Black Forest. What is a bummel, you may ask? It is a journey, long or short, without an end; the only thing regulating it being the necessity of getting back within a given time to the point from which one started ... As the trio encounters misadventures involving transport, the weather, and the usually tranquil locals, chaos and mayhem again reign supreme.
