Gojko Adzic, Nikola Korac: Humans vs Computers (Paperback, 2017, Neuri Consulting Llp)

Review of 'Humans vs Computers' on 'Goodreads'

Very shocking, funny and interesting real stories about the dangers of "not correctly" tested or monitored software systems :-)

Besides the tones of examples, I found very valuable advices to avoid them (e.g. names, dates, unicode, cultural and ethnic differences, etc).

Niklas-Modig: This is Lean (Swedish language, 2012)

Review of 'This is Lean' on 'Goodreads'

AMAZING book.

A must for anyone willing to learn more about "Lean". Even if was already familiar with several concepts, this book explains exceptionally well how everything connects, with very interesting information and reflections about the "history" of the buzzy word.

And the "story" is very well written.

I can only highly recommend it :-)

Jack Kornfield: After the Ecstasy, the Laundry (Paperback, 2001, Bantam)

Review of 'After the Ecstasy, the Laundry' on 'Goodreads'

AMAZING reading.

I wouldn't recommend it as an introductory reading, but only for people who are already "in the path", or let's say, have become familiar with certain practices (e.g. meditation) and mindset.

It gave me some perspectives that I hadn't found in any book before.

And as any "good" book about the Dharma, it gave me peace. And it made me cry. And laugh. And lots of "enlightenment" moments. I just finished it, but I will probably read it again in the future.

Thank you very much for this book, Jack ^___^

Kent Beck: Test Driven Development (Paperback, 2002, Addison-Wesley Professional)

Quite simply, test-driven development is meant to eliminate fear in application development. While some fear …

A "classic" about the TDD technique.

A MUST read: even being 15 years old, there are some good advices and it helps you further reflect about it :-)

Review of 'An autobiography' on 'Goodreads'

So... I finally finished it!!! ^___^

From a historical point of view: it's a great document. And it was algo very interesting to read the reasonings, reflections and moral perspectives of Mahatma Gandhi.

But from a literary point of view: it's really bad, I'm sorry... It was not written as a "novel", and obviously it lacks the structure, the rhythm, etc.

So: if you're gonna read it, be sure to be more interested in the historical character, the person, than in a "good novel" :-)
